In October 2018, Keyi expanded the production capacity of cast polyurethane elastomers at its plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Keyi's business focus is on special cast polyurethane elastomers and polyols. It is headquartered in Italy.
The company did not disclose how much it invested in the expansion. However, it does say that its Imuthane cast polyurethane elastomer has doubled its capacity.
All polyols that need to be made from these materials are produced on site. The output of the new investment will support all businesses in Latin America.
Jose Paulo Victorio, president of the company, said: 'This expansion is a logical step to continue to support our strong growth in the business sector over the past few years.'
He added that the plant will provide technical and sales support to customers of all companies in continental Europe.
