Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd. recently delivered the delivery of 17 MW DUOMAX M PLUS double-glass single crystal PERC components to France's first, the largest floating photovoltaic power plant in Europe.
The power station is located in Pioranc, Vaucluse, in the southeastern part of France. It was developed by Akuo, a leading French energy company. After completion, it can guarantee the electricity consumption of 4,700 households in the country, reducing the annual carbon dioxide emissions by more than 11,000 tons.
Trina Solar's DUOMAX M PLUS components are supplied with high-quality double-layer tempered glass to ensure high output power in harsh environments with high humidity and high radiation. Meanwhile, Trina Solar double-glass components are also resistant to PID. (potential induced attenuation), anti-UV (ultraviolet) aging, anti-cracking, anti-degradation and corrosion, is an ideal choice for dealing with harsh environments.
Eric Scotto, President and Partner of Akuo Energy, said: 'This power station is our first power supply project for local residents and the first floating power station in France. We are particularly cautious about the choice of project partners. Trina Solar It is one of the earliest PV companies to enter the European market. Its products are efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly. We are very pleased to work with the outstanding companies such as Trina Solar to work on energy transformation.
Gonzalo de la Vina, head of Trina Solar's component business in Europe, said: 'The French market has very stringent standards for component products. We are honored to be the partner of Akuo. I believe this project will be France and Europe in the future. The development of floating power stations provides an important reference. '
