Southeast Electricization plans to invest 3.8 billion yuan | New 150,000 tons / year TDI installation

Fujian Southeast Electricization is planning to build a 150,000 t/y TDI project in the Jiangyin Industrial Concentration Zone.

The company's application is currently awaiting approval from the regulatory authorities.

According to the company, the initial capacity of the expansion project is 200,000 tons/year. The newly planned project may begin construction in 2019. The plant already has a 100,000 tonne/year TDI plant that has been in operation for 3 years.

China Chemical Sai Ding Engineering Co., Ltd. undertook the construction of the project. The company's environmental assessment shows that the total investment of the project is about 3.8 billion yuan, the construction period is 36 months, and 240 jobs can be created after putting into production.

The project also includes the construction of a new 300,000 tons/year ionic membrane caustic soda plant. The original 120,000 tons/year ionic membrane caustic soda production capacity.

The caustic soda produced at the plant will also be supplied to the 400,000 t/y MDI plant being built by Fujian Cornell Polyurethane Co., Ltd. The parent company of Southeast Electron is Fujian Petrochemical, which holds a stake in Fujian Cornell Polyurethane Co., Ltd. Fujian Petrochemical will also provide engineering services during the construction of the project.
