According to industry statistics, from January to September 2018, the newly added wind power grid-connected capacity of the country was 12.61 million kilowatts. By the end of September, the accumulated wind power grid-connected capacity reached 176 million kilowatts. From January to September, the national wind power generation capacity was 267.6 billion kilowatt-hours. The growth rate was 26%; the average utilization hours was 1565 hours, an increase of 178 hours compared with the same period of last year; from January to September, the national abandoned wind power was 22.2 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 7.4 billion kWh.
From January to September, the provinces with more wind power grid-connected capacity were Inner Mongolia (1.93 million kilowatts), Jiangsu (1.56 million kilowatts), Shanxi (1.17 million kilowatts), Qinghai (1.1 million kilowatts), and Henan (86 million kilowatts). The provinces with higher average utilization hours are Shanghai (1909 hours), Jiangsu (1857 hours), Yunnan (1848 hours), Liaoning (1750 hours), Fujian (1722 hours).
Remarks: 1. Capacity unit: 10,000 kW; power unit: 100 kWh;
2. Grid-connected capacity, power generation, utilization hours are from CLP;
3. Abandon wind power, the wind rate is from the National Renewable Energy Center, related grid enterprises.
4. The annual abandonment rate control target promised by each province is the 2018 annual abandonment rate control target promised by the provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) in implementing the “Implementation Plan for Solving the Problem of Abandoning Water, Abandoning Wind and Abandoning Light”, '- -' indicates that the wind control target has not been proposed in the work plan.
