The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is located in the Boyang area of Guangdong Province. It is connected to Hong Kong in the east and Zhuhai and Macao in the west. It is the first large-scale cross-sea traffic project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It has a total length of 55 kilometers, gathering bridges and islands. The tunnel is one of the longest sea-crossing bridges in the world. It is also another major infrastructure project in China following the Three Gorges Project, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the South-to-North Water Transfer, the West-East Gas Pipeline, and the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway.
