Woxu Energy has obtained the right to develop four offshore wind farms in the sea area of 35 kilometers to 60 kilometers in Changhua County, with a total capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts. Wo Xu Energy is also one of the developers of Formosa, the first commercial offshore wind farm in Taiwan. This wind farm will be expanded from the current 8MW to 128MW in 2019, and it is also installed by Siemens Gemeifan.
In addition, the wind turbine tower will be produced by the famous tower manufacturer CS Wind and the local Taiwanese company Jinfeng Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. in the factory in Taichung Port.
At present, some preliminary work has not been completed: PPA will be signed at the end of this year, and the final investment decision within Wo Xu Energy is expected to be completed in March 2019.
