RWDC Industries Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based innovation company, announced the successful completion of a $13 million A2 round of financing jointly funded by venture capital firm Vickers Venture Partners and WI Harper Group. A2 The round of financing will be used to expand RWDC's polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) production capacity in Athens, Georgia, USA, to accelerate the development of bio-based biodegradable PHA materials to replace disposable plastic products. Capacity will expand to 2000 tons / year, making it one of the world's largest PHA producers in early 2019.
