The Ministry of Ecology and Environment publicized the 22nd batch of waste plastics import license data for 2018. This batch has only one processing and utilization unit, and the approved import volume is 203 tons.
With the approach of China's total ban on the import of waste plastics on December 31, 2018, the approval of imported plastics in recent months shows that the number has been significantly reduced compared to the first half of this year, not to compare the previous two years. This also proves our country's determination to deal with the problem of 'foreign garbage'.
Although there are still more than two months from the ban on imports, the approval of waste plastics is still being issued. However, the quantitative verification of waste plastics imports is difficult to meet the production needs of domestic processing and utilization enterprises. The current situation of domestic waste plastics is in short supply.
