The year-on-year decline in domestic brand mobile phone shipments has shrunk significantly compared with the previous month. In September 2018, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 34.458 million units, down 9.1% year-on-year, up 13.9% from the previous month, accounting for 88.3% of domestic mobile phone shipments; 83 new models were listed, down 27.8% year-on-year. Domestic mobile phones listed 91.2% of new models. From January to September 2018, domestic brand mobile phone shipments reached 276 million units, down 16.8% year-on-year, accounting for 90.4% of domestic mobile phone shipments during the same period; , a year-on-year decrease of 24.1%, accounting for 91.7% of the number of new models of domestic mobile phones.
The trend of smartphone shipments to head enterprises is obvious. From January to September 2018, smartphone shipments were 287 million units, down 16.8% year-on-year, accounting for 94.2% of domestic mobile phone shipments during the same period, of which Android phones accounted for 89.8% of smartphones. From smartphone manufacturers According to the distribution, the top 10 manufacturers in the first three quarters of this year had a total shipment share of 92%, an increase of 8 percentage points over the same period last year.
More than 70 new smartphone models were launched in September. In September 2018, 71 new models of smartphones were listed, down 21.1% year-on-year, accounting for 78.0% of the total number of new mobile phones in the same period, including 68 mobile phones supporting Android operating system.
