KRAIBURG TPE will introduce the new FC/AD/PA THERMOLAST K series of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE).
The product offers a wide range of design options and cost-effectiveness to meet the needs of TPE/PA complex applications in the consumer industry.
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) have the advantages of softness, good grip, sealing properties, etc., which are important for many high quality consumer products. In order to continuously develop product potential, KRAIBURG TPE will present an innovative TPE Technology, which is characterized by excellent adhesion to polyamides and complies with Food Contact Materials Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011.
The new FC / AD / PA THERMOLAST K series of TPE compounds have excellent processing properties and excellent surface properties. No need for finishing after leaving the mold. This cost-effective machinable material can be directly injection molded onto PA6 and PA6.6 without Add any translucent or precisely colored adhesive primer. It has a hardness range of 40 - 80 Shore A. Even at low wall thickness, they have a good soft touch and non-slip grip. They also have excellent tensile strength, elongation at break and abrasion resistance. In the development of these special TPEs, they also meet certain established requirements, such as the Food Contact Materials Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. Claim.
Dirk Butschkay, Business Product Marketing Manager at KRAIBURG TPE in Europe, Middle East and Europe, said: 'These materials developed specifically for the consumer industry show that our development technology is firmly oriented to our markets and customers. Our products meet thermoplastic elasticity. With the growing demand for these elastomers, they offer optimized features and functionality in two-component polyamide applications and help our customers stay competitive in dynamic market segments.'
