China National Offshore Oil Corporation Co., Ltd. announced that on the morning of October 16, local time, under the witness of Premier Li Keqiang and Dutch Prime Minister Lut, CNOOC and Shell Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in Huizhou Petrochemical Chemical Project in The Hague. Yang Hua, Chairman of CNOOC, and Fan Bodeng, CEO of Shell Group, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective groups.
According to the agreement, the two parties will explore cooperation in the construction of production facilities, aiming at giving full play to the advantages of industrial clusters, and creating a large-scale refining and chemical integration base in Daya Bay with scale and competitiveness.
