Perstorp said that the company will expand its production capacity of non-phthalate polyester plasticizer Pevalen from 2019.
To this end, the company signed a long-term production agreement with Alcoplast Srl of Italy.
The new partnership has more than doubled current capacity, with a total annual production of 50,000 tons, and increased equipment targets due to economies of scale.
Pevalen (pentaerythritol tetravalerate or PETV) is Perstorp's true high performance non-phthalate plasticizer.
