Recently, the Provincial Industry and Commerce Bureau announced the quality inspection results of household appliances in the circulation field, and found 16 batches of unqualified products, involving small household appliances such as hemispheres and Great Wall.
In this sampling, three batches of rice cookers, electric kettles and rice cookers were found to be unqualified, 1 batch of Shanshui brand egg cookers failed, 1 batch of Great Wall brand table fans failed, 1 batch Counterfeit Oaks electric kettle is unqualified. The main problems of unqualified products are concentrated in input power, grounding measures, signs and instructions, as well as power connections and external cords.
According to the relevant staff of the Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, the power of the household appliances may cause power overload and fire hazard; while the power is too small, the appliance may not be able to achieve normal use. The power connection and external cord items are found to be unqualified during sampling. On the one hand, the cross-sectional area of the wire is low, which cannot meet the requirements of current-carrying capacity, and there is a risk of electric shock and fire; on the other hand, the unqualified plug size leads to unreasonable connection.
