Chairman Zte: U.S. court changes to the Company's monitoring conditions

October 4 morning news, ZTE Hong Kong stocks issued a notice, Texas North District Court on October 3, 2018 (U.S. Time) issued an order to amend the court on March 22, 2017 (united states Time) approved by the agreement to enter into force of the Company's monitoring conditions set Out.

This includes extending the Office of the Ombudsman appointed by the court until March 22, 2022 and granting the same authority to the Ombudsman as the Special Compliance Coordinator agreed by the Ssa.

Insider News announcement on the order to amend the conditions of supervision

ZTE Corporation Limited ("the Company") publishes this notice pursuant to section 13.09 (2) of the securities listing rules of the stock exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("listing Rules") and the insider information provisions of part xiva of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (chapter No. 571 of Hong Kong law) (see listing rules). I have the honour to refer to the announcement made by the company on March 8, 2017 and March 23, 2017 concerning (including) the agreement between the company and the U.S. Department of Justice (the "agreement"). As a result of the company, Shenzhen ZTE Electronic co., Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company) and the United States Department of Commerce Industrial and Security Bureau in June 2018, the action of the Alternative settlement agreement ("ssa"), Texas North American District Court ("court") on October 3, 2018 (U.S. Time) issued an order ("order") to amend the conditions of the monitoring of the company as set out in the agreement on March 22, 2017 (united states Time) for the approval of the Court.

The Court's amendments to the monitoring conditions include the following main provisions: (1) the extension of the term of office of the Ombudsman appointed by the court until March 22, 2022;

And

(2) Grant the Ombudsman the same rights as the special Compliance Coordinator agreed by the ssa, which may be contacted in accordance with the Export Control Reform Act 2018, the Export Administration Regulations and the mandate of the specific documents, information, facilities and Personnel.
