At 1:5 am on September 26, 2018, Ecuador, the first unit of the Ecuadorian Minas 3X90MW hydropower project built by Harbin International was successfully connected to the grid. The system equipment of the unit is operating normally and the main operating parameters are all excellent. The first unit of the project was successfully connected to the grid for power generation, which has very important strategic significance for Ecuador's power supply.

The Manas Hydropower Project in Ecuador is the first hydropower project of Harbin Power Group to develop the South American power market. The scope of the project contract mainly includes all civil and power transmission and construction of power stations, electromechanical equipment design, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning, and a period of one. The project warranty period of the year and a half. During the construction of the project, the 230kV vertical shaft 230kV cable installation was completed for the first time, and 9 high-voltage cable installations were completed, setting a record for the high-voltage cable laying of the deepest shaft in China and Ecuador; the first TBM tunneling machine was used for tunneling. Excavation, the total length of the total excavation is nearly 12 kilometers.

With the successful power generation of the first unit of the Minas Hydropower Project, the Harbin International Minas Hydropower Project team made every effort to ensure that the performance indicators of the first unit meet the long-term stable operation requirements, and prepare for the 72-hour trial run.
