Foreign media testing, iPhone XS screen panel is more resistant than iPhone X

The crash resistance of mobile phone screens has always been a long-standing topic in the mobile phone industry. Can Apple's iPhone still perform well this year compared to the recently released Corning Gorilla Sixth Generation Panel Glass?

At last week's new Apple launch, Apple claimed that the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were equipped with 'the world's most durable smartphone glass'. To test this, the YouTube channel TechSmartt conducted a series of drop tests.

First, TechSmartt tested the iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in a pocket drop test. The tester dropped three iPhones from the height of the pocket to the ground. The results showed that the three iPhones were basically unscathed.

Next, TechSmartt raised the drop position to the head, simulating the location of the phone when the user called. In this test, the iPhoneX screen cracked, the iPhone XS remained intact, and the top of the iPhone XS Max appeared worn. .

Finally, the tester dropped the three iPhones from the height of 10 feet (3.05 meters) to the ground. The results showed that the iPhoneX's glass back cover was broken, the iPhone XS was once again intact, and the iPhone XS Max was 'face down'. On the ground, the screen shattered and caused the screen to malfunction.

According to the test results, it is not blunt to say that the iPhone XS's screen panel is the most resistant to the world. It is quite normal in comparison with the Corning Gorilla's sixth-generation panel. However, compared with Apple's previous generation iPhone X, The resistance to falling is naturally a significant improvement.
