Starting today, in the next four months, social media advertising will send a message promoting the use of wood pellets as a home heating benefit that will be pushed to consumers in eight markets in the United States. The initiative was initiated by the Pellet Fuels Institute as Increase consumer awareness of the use of wood pellets for awareness and interest in residential heating.
PFI Executive Director Tim Portz said: 'Our board and members are united and believe that PFI plays a leading role in promoting wood chips as a clean, renewable and cost-effective home heating solution. We know that social media is manufacturer and retail. More and more platforms are being used to increase consumer awareness of their products. Our beta testing will enable us to inform and improve our social media strategy based on actual results.
The plan will include images and information about the benefits of wood pellet heating, which will be pushed to consumers in the target market that meet specific demographic characteristics. These messages will include a call-to-action that will work with retailers. Partners are connected and these partners are ready to help those consumers choose the pellet heating equipment that makes sense to them.
Social media is an increasingly popular platform for manufacturers and retailers (pictures from the web) 'We are really excited to provide opportunities for our members to add value to their retail customers, some of whom have established strong supplier-sponsored content plans,' Portz said. 'More and more members ask us How to help them increase the customer's location, now we can provide something for members to feel good. Retailers carrying pellet burning equipment are really at the cutting edge of our efforts to increase the number of units of burning products. What can we do to help them? Selling more granular devices deserves our attention. '
Test markets include Butler, Pennsylvania; Lebanon, New Hampshire; Grant, Michigan; Placerville, California; and Bel Air, Maryland.
