It is understood that Tiejian Heavy Industry is the first large-scale central enterprise to develop high-end intelligent six-row cotton picker. The model of this off-line cotton picker is 4MZ-6 self-propelled cotton picker, the whole machine size is 9.6 meters × 5.5 Meter × 5.3 m, net weight 24 tons, a total of 6 cotton picking heads, the total capacity of cotton boxes is 40 cubic meters, the recovery rate is >93%.
At the same time, in order to better adapt to Xinjiang's cotton picking demand and serve cotton farmers in Xinjiang, the cotton picker has specially designed or added fire alarm detection and automatic fire extinguishing devices, anti-shock facilities, and electronic control system of Beidou navigation technology. How powerful is this machine? Zhang Ruquan, deputy director of the Tiejian Heavy Industry High-end Agricultural Machinery Research Institute, which is responsible for the research of this project, has calculated an account: generally 1 mu of land can produce 300 kg to 350 kg of cotton, and ordinary skilled workers can Picking 80 kg of cotton, and the six-row cotton picker can pick about 400 mu of cotton land. According to Zhang Ruquan, in the past, domestically produced small and medium-sized cotton pickers can pick three or five rows at the same time, and this six-row cotton picker entered the Chinese market only around 2012. The six lines just off the assembly line. From the market research, technical reserve to manufacturing completion, the cotton picker has been completed for about two years.
