Drinking too much water is not good for health.

Research by Monash University and the University of Melbourne in Australia found that their findings overturned the notion of drinking water and that drinking too much water would adversely affect human brain nerves.

Studies have shown that when the body ingests too much water, the brain will produce rejection, which may cause dysphagia and affect normal eating.

And the researchers found that the thirst after exercise or other work, the water-filling action, and the water is sufficient, compared to drinking water when not thirsty, the latter is three times more powerful than the former.

Imaging in functional magnetic resonance angiography showed that the activity of the prefrontal cortex controlling appetite was more active when drinking water in the latter state, which easily caused abnormalities in the brain and may cause dysphagia due to non-organ damage.

In the past, everyone knows that too much water intake can cause 'acute water poisoning', and there may be hyponatremia, paralysis, lethargy, and even worsening into serious death. Therefore, the timing and amount of drinking water need to be increased. note.

It is better to listen to your body and to replenish the right amount of water at the right time, rather than having to drink a certain amount of water every day.

So how should water be used? It can be considered based on three different factors:

1. Age and weight

Under 30 years old: Weight (kg) ×40= Recommended amount of water (ml);

30-55 years old: weight (kg) × 35 = recommended water consumption (ml);

Over 55 years old: Weight (kg) ×30= Recommended amount of water (ml).

2. The amount of exercise

According to the recommendations of the American Sports Medicine Association, for 30 minutes of exercise, the daily intake of water is best increased by 350 ml.

Experts advise that healthy adults should not drink more than 3,500 ml per day.

3. Diet

People's eating habits will affect the amount of water that should be replenished daily, such as eating high-moisture foods, but in fact, diuretic foods, such as Chinese cabbage, coffee, etc., can help the body to discharge waste and accumulate water, so it is necessary to supplement the right amount. Moisture.

When we take too much salt, the body keeps balance, it also consumes water, it is easy to thirst, and the blood pressure rises. In addition to drinking a little more water, we must start to control the diet and adjust the taste.
