Huawei announced today the latest developments and future eco-strategy of Huawei Pay. According to Sun Jianfa, the head of Huawei's consumer business cloud service Huawei Pay business, as of July 2018, Huawei Pay has accumulated access to 78 banks, and the supported devices include watches. This year, Huawei Pay began to expand its online business. At present, more than 40 home appliance companies support users to use Huawei Pay to make payments. According to Sun Jianfa, Huawei and the Third Institute of the Ministry of Public Security announced the launch of a network electronic system issued by the Ministry of Public Security Citizen Network Identification System.
The identity (eID) is loaded into the mobile phone pilot. In the future, consumers can use a Huawei or glory mobile phone with Huawei Pay function to complete online identity authentication, and apply offline applications such as hotel check-in.
