Recently, PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Branch's ethane ethylene project carried out the second public announcement of the public participation in environmental impact assessment of the project. Entrusted by China National Petroleum Corporation Tarim Oilfield Branch, China Ryukyu Engineering Co., Ltd. undertook the ethane ethylene project in Tarim Oilfield Environmental impact assessment work. The current EIA report has been initially completed and is intended to be submitted to the environmental protection administrative department for approval in the near future.
The publicity materials show that the project is located in the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park of Shangku Comprehensive Industrial Park, Bayinguoleng Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a total investment of 9.821 billion yuan. The project uses ethane as raw material to produce LLDPE, HDPE and other products. The production equipment includes 600,000. Tons/year ethylene plant, 300,000 tons/year full density polyethylene unit (FDPE), 300,000 tons/year high density polyethylene unit (HDPE) and associated utilities and ancillary facilities. The ethylene unit uses CNPC's own technology. The FDPE unit adopts Unipol low-pressure gas-phase fluidized bed process, and the HDPE unit adopts BASELL Hostalen ACP process. The project public works include power station, air separation air pressure, sewage treatment plant, circulating water field, etc. Auxiliary production facilities include factory office building, central laboratory test 1. Room, central control room, etc., storage and transportation system including chemical warehouse, finished product warehouse, integrated tank area, etc.
