According to reports, Vietnam is encouraging Vietnamese residents to install solar systems on the roofs of houses because solar power is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than fossil fuels.
Experts say that the solar power system on the roof of a Vietnamese house can help families reduce their bills by 50% of their monthly electricity bills, thus helping to protect the environment.
It is understood that the solar system costs 600 million VND, requires a total of 6 solar panels, life expectancy of 20 to 25 years, each family can save 1.5 million VND per month.
According to a report by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnamese provincial level has increased the number of large-scale solar projects planned by 100 countries.
To date, Vietnam has developed 748 small rooftop solar power projects with a total capacity of approximately 11.6 MW.
