▲ Danish Energy Agency John Tang gave a speech at the scene
It is understood that Danish biomass energy dominates the renewable energy sector, especially after 2000, the proportion of biomass energy application has increased significantly. Compared with other European countries, biomass energy is more widely used in Denmark, 2016 In Denmark, biomass energy accounts for 28% of energy consumption in the year, and by 2020, this ratio will increase to 38%.
According to John Tang, in Europe, biomass energy is mainly used in heating, transportation and electricity. Among them, heating accounts for 75% of the total use, and transportation and electricity are equally divided by 25%.
Traditional biomass (including rural energy: fuelwood, straw, straw, rice husk and other agricultural waste and livestock manure), accounting for 91% of total heating use, fuelwood contribution, agricultural residue use It is limited, and only some countries apply it. Denmark is one of them.
Biomass energy is used in the field of heating and has diversified characteristics. It is mainly used in three fields in Europe.
The first is for decentralized civil heating, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, more applications.
The second is for centralized district heating, representing countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Finland.
The third is for industry, typical countries are Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia.
According to relevant data, among the 28 European countries, the top five countries using biomass heating consumption are Germany (15%), France (12%), Sweden (10%), Italy (9%), Finland. (5%), the remaining countries accounted for 46%.
Wood pellet fuel is one of the typical applications of traditional biomass energy, and it is the only biomass energy that has market pricing in Europe. The pricing methods of wood chips and straw are relatively independent, and the pricing varies from place to place, and there is no uniform official market price. In Denmark, due to the high cost of wood chip transportation, the market platform has yet to be developed.
From the current development situation, Danish wood pellet fuel is expensive and the proportion of use will be further reduced; the proportion of straw used will stabilize in the future, but the quantity is limited, mainly used for small boilers; wood chips are stable due to high price and high efficiency. The ratio is increasing.
John Tang said that in the next 3-4 years, biomass energy will have more room for development in Denmark and even the world.
