In 2018, the total amount of approved plastics for the 18th batch of waste plastics was significantly higher than the previous batches. Except for Tianjin Yuming Industrial Co., Ltd., the other four companies have repeatedly approved the import of waste plastics.
Up to now, the application for approval of waste plastics in 2018 is as follows: 15 batches of 18 batches issued by the solid control center contain approvals for the import of waste plastics, and the total import volume is 630,760 tons.
The 8th batch approved the maximum import volume of 18,207 tons, and the single batch of approved imports did not exceed 5,000 tons, while the 18th approval approved the highest volume in the past 5 months.
Although the approved imports of waste plastics have increased slightly, they still cannot meet the demand for domestic recycled materials.
