Academician's support | 7 tips to teach you science to raise kidney

Professor Liu Zhihong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is a top nephrologist in China. She summarized seven suggestions for nourishing kidney.

1. Don't rush into the room after renovation

Academician Liu has done an experiment:

In a small house filled with formaldehyde, benzene, xylene, silicone oil and other gases, simulate the indoor air environment after renovation. After that, let some mice live in. After two months, the inspection found that these mice had nephritis.

This experiment was conducted in the outpatient data of the hospital's nephrology department:

Outpatients found some patients with nephritis, edema in the body, urine test has a lot of urine protein. Normal people have only 3 grams of urine protein in 24 hours, and these patients have an average of 9.8 grams.

By asking the patient's occupation and living environment, it was found that some of the patients were painters, and most of the patients had just been renovated.

2. Do not mix multiple medicines to eat

Drug abuse not only hurts the liver but also hurts the kidneys.

There is a girl, in order to lose weight to eat five or six kinds of weight-loss drugs in a year, the result is only 1 to 2 kilograms of weight loss, but the kidneys are damaged, and there is no urine for a long time. I went to the Nanjing General Hospital to check that she has kidney failure. .

3. Drink less cola and pearl milk tea

Coke contains a lot of phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid makes Coke taste better and has antiseptic effect.

Studies abroad have confirmed that a large amount of phosphate is associated with acute and long-term kidney damage, such as kidney stones. The phosphoric acid content in pearl milk tea is higher than that of cola.

4. Limit high protein diet

A light diet is to raise the kidneys.

The uric acid and urea nitrogen, the metabolites of high-protein foods of large fish and large meat, are discharged by the kidneys.

If you eat too much of this kind of food, it will increase the burden on the kidneys. After a long time, it will slowly damage the kidney function.

5. Must check urine during physical examination

Many early symptoms of kidney disease are very hidden, but urine is a mirror for examining kidney function. Urination is one of the simplest and most effective methods.

Ordinary people can record the urine color and urine volume at home, and can check the kidney function.

The urine of a normal person is a pale yellow, clear and transparent liquid. When there is a lot of water, when the amount of urine is high, the urine color is lighter, and vice versa, but there is no such thing as a pink color.

If the urine is turbid or blistering, it must also be noticed. It is best to go to the hospital for a urine test. Ordinary people should have a urine test every year.

People with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, rheumatism, and family history of kidney disease should have a urine test every six months. Usually, pay attention to the abnormality of urine.

6. Cold, fever as soon as possible treatment

Infectious diseases such as colds are a major cause of kidney disease. Some common drugs that have a fever and fever are kidney toxicity.

Such as neomycin, gentamicin and other diseases are a class of antibiotics with greater nephrotoxicity; penicillin and cephalosporins themselves have no obvious nephrotoxicity, mainly cause allergic renal interstitial damage.

In addition, anti-inflammatory analgesics, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc., also have damage to the kidneys. Therefore, you must not ignore the cold, fever, should be treated as soon as possible.

7. Control diabetes, high blood pressure

Studies have shown that about 30%-40% of diabetes can develop into diabetic nephropathy. Among them, nearly 40% of diabetic nephropathy can develop into uremia. Uremia is also one of the main causes of death in diabetic patients.

In life, people with diabetes should pay attention to avoid urinary tract infections, and should be treated promptly after infection. Repeated urinary tract infections can aggravate diabetic nephropathy.

At the same time, hypertension is an important trigger for diabetic nephropathy. Severe hypertension is a precursor to increased kidney damage. Therefore, people with diabetes and high blood pressure must be especially alert to kidney disease.
