BYD will supply pure electric vehicles for public transportation in Georgia, USA

According to foreign media reports, BYD Auto has signed a procurement contract with Georgia and its capital, Atlanta, to supply pure electric vehicles to the state and the city as public transport.

Under the contract, BYD will supply Georgia with four pure electric buses (C6, C8, C9 and C10) and four pure electric buses (K7, K9, K9M and K11), and four pure electric buses for the city of Atlanta. (K7M, K9S, K9M and K11M), 3 pure electric buses (C6M, C8M and C9M), 3 pure electric medium trucks and pure electric taxi e6.

It is reported that Atlanta plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% from 2020 and 40% by 2030. BYD said that the cooperation is expected to promote Atlanta's environmental goals and will help BYD continue to expand its business.

At present, the two sides have not announced the specific number of vehicles ordered, but BYD said that ordering from fixed dealers will bring a lot of convenience to Georgia and Atlanta, including low cost and short delivery time.

In addition, BYD will provide 9 pure electric buses for Montreal and Longueuil, Canada.
