Siemens Gemei signed 10 memorandums of understanding in Taiwan

Spanish wind power Siemens Gemei Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed 10 memorandums of understanding with a series of suppliers in Taipei, Taiwan, to support Taiwan's status as the region's next large offshore wind power market.

Taiwan's offshore wind power industry has become the next large offshore wind power market, thanks to Taiwan's current 5.5 GW offshore wind power target. Several major offshore wind power operators have entered Taiwan this year and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ), and set up headquarters, including MHI Vestas and Siemens Gamesa.

This week, the Siemens Gazette announced that it signed 10 memorandums of understanding in Taipei on Wednesday, including cooperation with six global Tier 1 suppliers and four local suppliers.

The signing of the MOU marks the commitment of Siemens Gemei to the region. The signed MoU covers all products such as processing, control systems, coolers and so on.
