Tianjin Suihua Group recently held the groundbreaking ceremony of the 'two-chemical' relocation and transformation project in Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone. The project focuses on the development of two major product chains, methanol to olefins and ethane cracking and ethylene, including the new 2×1.8 million tons/year methanol system. Olefins and 300,000 tons / year of polyethylene, 2 × 300,000 tons / year of polypropylene, 600,000 tons / year ionized membrane caustic soda, 800,000 tons / year of polyvinyl chloride, 60,000 tons / year of ethylene oxide, 200,000 Tonne/year propylene oxide co-production of 450,000 tons/year styrene and other equipment. The total investment of the project is 29.4 billion yuan. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2020. It is reported that Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone will also have BP, Xiangsmai, Huadian, and Law during the year.
