Fossil's new smart watch supports Google Pay, heart rate tracking and GPS

According to foreign media The Verge, some of Fossil's smart watches sometimes shun some features for simplicity and affordability. Many of these smart watches don't offer heart rate tracking or have not yet supported mobile payments. But things are changing now. Fossil announces the launch of the fourth-generation FossilQ series of smart watches, all of which are added to the latest models (and GPS features).

These new watches - Q Venture HR and Q Explorist HR - are priced between $255 and $275, depending on the consumer's preference for straps and colors. Customers can now buy from Fossil's website. Q Venture The HR uses a 40 mm stainless steel case, while the Q Explorist uses a larger 45 mm case.

The new Fossil watches still use the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip that has been used in smart watches for two years. The company will use a more powerful SoC chip later this year.
