SIA: Global chip sales revenue rose 21% in the second quarter, China's over 30%

According to the micro-network news, the Semiconductor Industry Association announced that the global second-quarter chip sales revenue rose 20.5% year-on-year to 117.9 billion US dollars; alone in June, chip sales revenue also rose 20.5% to 39.3 billion US dollars.

The SIA pointed out that the global chip industry has achieved a year-on-year increase of more than 20% for 15 consecutive months; each category also recorded year-on-year growth.

In June, China remained the fastest growing region for the chip industry, up 30.7% year-on-year; followed by the Americas, with an increase of 26.7%, Europe (15.9%), and Japan (14%).
