Chuanyan Research Semiconductor recruits SUMCO retired employees in Japan to develop silicon wafers

According to the micro-network news, Research Semiconductor has been successful in the development of solar silicon wafers. The semiconductor part is mainly made up of 8-inch wafers. The 12-inch wafer has not been developed yet. Recently, the industry has spread, and the research has been recruited from Japanese SUMCO retired staff.

On July 26, Dezhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and Yanyan Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the investment cooperation agreement for the large-scale silicon material scale base project for integrated circuits in Jinan Shandong Building.

The project is located in the Texas Economic and Technological Development Zone with a total investment of 8 billion yuan. The first phase will build an annual output of 2.76 million 8-inch wafer production lines, and the second phase will build an annual production capacity of 3.6 million 12-inch wafer production lines.
