Lv Jianping, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Yale University, graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Yale University. He joined Huida in 2002 as a senior GPU architect and played a key role in the RSX GPU for Sony's development of the PS3 game console Cell processor. Participated in the development of GPU chips such as Huida NV40, NV44 and NV46, and later became the senior architecture manager of Huida, established a multinational integrated GPU (IGPU) team, and finally completed the development of IGPU chips.
After leaving Huida, Lv Jianping joined MediaTek to lead MediaTek's own plan to develop G P U, but later canceled the plan and disbanded the US G P U team led by Lu Jianping. Lv Jianping went to Intel and NovuMind, and was attacked by Samsung Electronics last September.
Lu Jianping is currently responsible for the SGPU development plan at Samsung Electronics.
