Japan Softbank is about to release a robot that automatically cleans the floor of the station

According to the "Yomiuri Shimbun" website, the department of robotics research under the Softbank Group of Japan will release unmanned floor cleaning robots on August 1.

The appearance of the robot is slightly larger than that of the moped. For the first time, the data of the cleaning route must be manually controlled. After the second time, simply press the start button to automatically clean the floor in the set area. Some people or obstacles can be detected by the sensor and avoided. It can work for about 4 hours per charge.

The price of the floor cleaning robot is 2.48 million yen (excluding consumption tax). In addition, monthly payment of 59,800 yen (excluding consumption tax) is required for software and communication network fees.

Considering that labor shortages can be solved, the robot is expected to be used for night cleaning of stations and commercial facilities.
