New energy vehicle sales in the first half of 2018 increased by 112% year-on-year |

According to the data released by the China Automobile Association, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 413,000 and 412,000 respectively, up 94.9% and 111.6% year-on-year. The performance in the first half of the year was far better than that in previous years. From January to June, China's new Energy passenger vehicles sold a total of 355,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 70%; new energy commercial vehicles sold a total of 58,000 vehicles, down 29.9% year-on-year. Among them, in the January-June new energy vehicle sales composition, new energy passenger vehicles In terms of terms, pure electric passenger vehicles accounted for more than half of sales, accounting for 63%; plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles grew rapidly, accounting for 23%. For new energy commercial vehicles, pure electric commercial vehicles accounted for 13%; Hybrid commercial vehicles accounted for the least share, accounting for only 1%.

In the face of the cumulative sales of less than 500,000 vehicles in the first half of the year, the China Automobile Association said: According to the normal laws of previous years, the 'off-season' of the automobile market is often in the first half of the year, but for the new energy vehicle market, it is currently in the process of policy switching. In this state, the market segment has experienced an unconventional situation. Although the cumulative sales volume in the first half of the year was less than 500,000 units, according to the forecast, the actual power generation node will still appear in the second half of the year. Therefore, the new energy vehicle will complete the expected sales volume of one million units by the end of the year. There is no problem.

Throughout the first half of the overall sales, in March, the new energy vehicle market saw a surge, with a monthly sales of 67,778 units, a 96.9% increase from the previous month, an increase of 117.4% year-on-year. The cause of the surge may be related to market demand, to the Beijing market. For example, last year's indicator was released in April of the beginning of the year. In April last year, there was a wave of buying climax, and then the sales volume slowed down. In February this year, all the new energy indicators of this year were also issued at one time, winning the bid. Consumers began to buy vehicles. In addition, new products were introduced with multiple manufacturers, providing consumers with more choices and related relationships.

4. In May, sales of new energy vehicles continued to maintain a good growth trend. However, in June, sales in a single month fell by 17.5% from the previous month. The downward trend in June sales is expected, and this is a transitional switch to the new energy vehicle subsidy new deal. There is a certain relationship. Since the subsidy policy has implemented new technical standards and quotas from June 12th, the data in June can intuitively reflect the market situation after the subsidy changes. The sales and output of new energy vehicles in the month were 84,000 vehicles respectively. And 86,000 vehicles, an increase of 31.7% and 42.9% respectively over the same period of the previous year. Specific to each segment, plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles sold more than 20,000 vehicles per month, an increase of 16.4% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 125.8%. In other areas, when there was a monthly decline, it showed a contrarian growth. Among them, plug-in hybrid commercial vehicles fell the most, down 77.8% from the previous month, down 68.2% year-on-year, and down 0.9% year-on-year.

Xu Haidong, assistant secretary-general of the China Automobile Association, said that the production and sales of new energy vehicles in the first half of this year were far better than in the same period of the previous year. It is expected that the second half of the year will maintain a good development trend, and the pre-judgment will be maintained before the annual production and sales scale exceeds 1 million.
