No longer exclusive to G Suite | Google Cloud Search is open to third-party services

Whirlpool is one of the customers of this new service, which has built its own search portal and uses Google's technology to index 12 million files from more than a dozen services.

Google says that the benefit of doing this is that it gives employees access to all the information inside the enterprise, whether it's in the database or in traditional productivity tools, it can get all the information in a single index.

In order for this service to run smoothly, Google offers a large number of software adapters to bridge the gap between third-party services and Cloud Search. In addition, Google hopes to increase support for more services in the future, and this cloud-based Technology and its search equipment have the same level of functionality.

Now, this service is already open to specific customers. Over time, it will be open to G Suite users or in a standalone version.
