According to related news display LG Display recently revealed that the company achieved a net loss in the second quarter of 2018.
In a regulatory filing, LG Display said that the net loss for the period from April to June was 300.5 billion won (about 267 million US dollars), while the profit for the same period last year was 736 billion won.
At the same time, during the period, LG Display's operating loss was 228.1 billion won, while in the same period of 2017 it was 804 billion won.
In addition, in the second quarter of 2018, the company's sales also decreased by 15.4% year-on-year to 5.6 trillion won.
LG Display shares closed at 21,450 won on Tuesday, up 1.42% from the previous trading day.
