In the previous stage, Chengdu Chuanlong Tractor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. carried out the first generation of hilly mountain smart tractor prototype ribbon-cutting and trial production summary work, and achieved positive results.

The development of Changchai M403TC diesel engine is carried out in conjunction with the key scientific and technological development plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by Chengdu Chuanlong Tractor Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the key technology of the hilly mountain tractor and the whole machine research and development project. The goal of the project is to crack the current hilly mountain tractor. The whole machine has low transmission and driving efficiency, insufficient power, poor adaptability of operation on the slope, low level of intelligence, and can not meet the bottleneck technical problems such as the diversity of the unit operation, focusing on intelligent control, independent operation, quality reliability, industrialization, etc. Further research will be carried out to ensure the strong power of the final product prototype, high efficiency of the whole machine, good safety and adaptability of the operation on the slope, high intelligence level, and meet the diversity of agricultural operations in the hilly mountainous area. The Changchai M403TC diesel engine is equipped with 35 horsepower hills. The special diesel engine of the mountain intelligent tractor has a torque reserve of ≥30%, which can meet the non-road national four emission requirements.
