Grand Alliance's Quantum Group launches SIG MESH multi-protocol IoT platform

Dalian United Holdings announced that its subsidiary has launched SIG MESH multi-protocol IoT platform based on Qualcomm products.

SIG MESH was launched in 2017. The agreement itself evolved from Qualcomm's CSR MESH. Therefore, Qualcomm is the pioneer of this technology and has accumulated a lot of experience. Currently supporting SIG MESH's Qualcomm chip, There are upgrades in old products, such as CSR102XA05 series upgrade to CSR102XA06 to support SIG MESH, and also launch a new generation multi-mode product QCA402x series, compatible with SIG MESH, compatible with WIFI and ZigBee 3.0. Qualcomm's Bluetooth mesh is mainly used for equipment Direct information transmission and reception, perform the execution of the received information and forward the information to other peripheral devices, thereby increasing the propagation distance of Bluetooth and ensuring the security of the networking link.

Qualcomm's Bluetooth Mesh design is fully compatible with SIG MESH's network standards, allowing devices to communicate with each other in the MESH network. It supports a wide range of home control and automation products, including smart lighting, smart appliances, retail advertising, commercial and industrial applications. The Bluetooth Mesh design provides compatibility, allowing organizations using the technology to obtain a secure and standardized network structure.

The QCA4020 is a multimode SoC chip that includes Bluetooth 5.0, dual-mode Wi-Fi and 802.15.4 wireless protocols (including ZigBee® and Thread), while the other chip in the same series, the QCA4024, supports Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.15.4. Both platforms support hardware encryption and low power consumption, integrated cost advantages, can help fragmented IoT scenarios, provide flexible product development for OEM customers, and support multiple IoT wireless networks across different brands. Standard, protocol and communication of products under the framework, connected to the system network, cloud and application services.
