Recently, China Telecom has become the first provider of cloud storage services for Apple iCloud China operations in Guizhou. It is reported that China Telecom Tianyi Cloud and Yunnan Shangyun have officially signed the Infrastructure Agreement at the end of June. It marks that since the iCloud business in mainland China was officially operated by Yunnan on February 28 this year, Guizhou on the cloud will hold hands with China Telecom Tianyi Cloud to provide cloud storage services for iCloud.

According to information revealed by Guizhou on the cloud, Apple China’s data center investment will reach 1 billion US dollars, covering an area of ​​1,000 mu, which will be constructed in two phases. It is expected to be put into use in early 2020. By then, all data of iCloud users in mainland China will be moved overseas. To the data center operated by Guizhou company in the cloud. In the transition period, Guizhou company will cooperate with the three major operators in China to provide operational services for Apple iCloud by renting cloud.
