According to data from the Japan Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Japan's polyurethane production in May 2018 increased by 13.1% from May 2017.
Compared with the total output of 14,200 tons in May 2017, Japan produced 16.1 million tons of polyurethane in May 2018.
Japan produced 10,000 tons of soft foam in May 2018, an increase of 700 tons compared to 2017. Compared with 5,000 tons in May 2017, the hard foam production in May 2018 was 6.1 kilotons.
