According to South Korea's economic news website Newspim, the supply chain said that LG DIsplay has signed an agreement with Apple. In the second half of this year, LG Display will provide LCD and OLED screens for Apple, and the next generation of iPhone will be adopted.
This means that the iPhone X II (5.8-inch), iPhone X Plus (6.5-inch), and 6.1-inch cheap iPhones, which will be launched in September this year, are expected to adopt LG screens.
It is understood that LG Display will provide Apple with 3 million to 4 million OLED displays and 20 million LCD displays, of which OLED displays will be produced on the production line in Paju, South Korea.
