On July 11, 2018, Dow Chemical Company's Polyurethane Business Unit held a ceremony to open a polyether polyol plant at the Zhangjiagang production base. The new plant at Zhangjiagang is a world-class combined polyether polyol plant, further enhancing Dow local. Chemical production capacity, providing local customers with high-quality polyurethane materials and customized solutions, is expected to meet the rising demand for consumer durables, infrastructure, automotive and other market segments.
The celebration was held on the theme of 'Aggregate Now, Coform the Future', from the government, customers, partners, Dow's more than 150 guests.

Dow continues to invest in expanding its global capacity for polyurethane compounding products. The Zhangjiagang combined polyether polyol plant is another project after the newly opened Indian Lote compounding plant.
