BenQ announced today that its EX3203R curved display has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR 400 and AMD FreeSync 2.
DisplayHDR400 is one of the HDR certification specifications published by VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association), which requires at least a true 8-bit color display panel. In an important metric of the HDR standard of brightness, a brightness of not less than 400 nit is required. Also required is 95% of the ITU-R BT.709 color gamut. Currently only 15% of PC monitors can meet this standard.
Received the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, which means that the BenQ EX3203R can perfectly display HDR content, with better peak brightness and contrast, more highlight details, darker parts, and more appealing images. Naturally realistic video and game graphics experience.
The main purpose of the first generation of AMD FreeSync is to eliminate tearing and tearing of the game screen, and to ensure smoothness. FreeSync 2 mainly adds support for HDR10 rendering display, which can also get HDR HD effect for ordinary monitors, and support Automatic switching between SDR/HDR modes.

The BenQ EX3203R display uses a 31.5-inch 2560x1440 resolution VA panel with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, covering 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, a contrast ratio of 3000: 1, a 178-degree viewing angle, and a curvature of 1800R.
BenQ EX3203R display has 2 HDMI2.0 interfaces, one DisplayPort 1.2 interface, one USB-C interface (with charging function), two USB3.0 interfaces and one 3.5mm audio output port.
Unfortunately, the price has not been announced.
At present, the EX3200R sold by BenQ is a 1080P curved screen, which supports the first generation AMD Freesync, with a price of 2799 yuan.
