Recently, Samsung OEM announced that it will cooperate with ARM to launch a chip based on ARM A76 architecture using 7nm process technology. It is also based on this architecture, the maximum frequency can reach 3.0GHz, compared with the previous A75 with 35% performance improvement and 40% energy efficiency improvement.

It is reported that Samsung's 7nm production line will be launched in the second half of this year, and the enhanced version of EUV (Ultra-UV lithography) technology will be put into production in the first half of next year. In this respect, Samsung seems to be a little later than TSMC. Wei Zhejia, CEO of this front-end power company, said that the 7nm process using EUV will be trial production in the third quarter of this year. The order for the Apple A12 processor is still given to TSMC.
