Last year, Indian smartphone sales increased by about 10%. Reddy said: 'According to this growth rate, India may surpass the United States and become the world's second largest smartphone market after continuing China.'
Reddy also said that the current Xiaomi mobile phone is the highest-selling smartphone in India, which increased by more than 300% last year. Currently, including online and offline, Xiaomi's share of the Indian smartphone market is over 30%.
Reddy also revealed that in the three quarters since September 2017, Xiaomi has been India's largest smartphone supplier with an online market share of 60%.
Recently, Xiaomi has increased the number of manufacturing plants in India, currently there are six. Reddy said that today's printed circuit boards for smartphones will also be produced in India.
