Qualcomm Introduces New Wireless Headset SoC | Up to 50% Energy Saving

Sina Technology News Beijing time on July 2 evening news, Qualcomm has announced that its subsidiary 'Qualcomm Technology International Co., Ltd.' launched a flash programmable Bluetooth audio system-on-chip (SoC) QCC 3026.

The QCC 3026 is designed for wireless Qualcomm TrueWireless headphones. Compared to the previous generation of entry-level flash SoCs, the new product can consume up to 50% less energy.

Prior to this, Qualcomm released the low-power Bluetooth system-on-a-chip QCC5100 at this year's CES show. This product has greatly improved the processing performance of wireless earbuds, receiving efficiency, and greatly reduced battery power consumption, which has been well received.

The QCC3026 SoC is designed for mobile phone manufacturers. One of its main features is energy saving, allowing mobile phone manufacturers to produce their own wireless headsets for their low-end and mid-range phones.

The QCC3026 SoC features a 32-bit architecture that supports Bluetooth 5.0 dual-mode RF, Qualcomm Broadcast, TrueWireles stereo, aptX HD audio, and cVc noise cancellation.

Recently, OPPO has released a wireless Bluetooth headset based on the QCC3026 SoC.
