According to the Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, with the approval of the State Council, the Jinan Air Port was added as a drug import port. Our province is the second city to receive drug import ports after Qingdao.
From the date of publication of the announcement, in addition to the drugs specified in Article 10 of the Measures for the Administration of Pharmaceutical Imports, other imported drugs (including narcotic drugs, psychotropic drugs) may be imported through the Jinan Airport Port. The announcement also clarifies the increase of food and drug inspection in Shandong Province. The institute is the port drug inspection institute, and the Shandong Food and Drug Inspection Institute has begun to undertake the drug port inspection work at the Jinan Airport Port.
According to the “Statistical Analysis Report on the Operation of Drug Circulation Industry in 2017” issued by the Ministry of Commerce, the total sales of seven major categories of pharmaceutical products in China totaled 201.6 billion yuan in 2017, of which Shandong’s sales were 114.4 billion yuan, ranking sixth, with huge market potential.
