It is reported that the patent number of the patent involved is ZL200510055346.2, and the name is 'a numeric input of Chinese pinyin and phonetic multi-word continuous input method on the keypad.'

The plaintiff Jiugong’s remixing company claimed that the defendant Apple’s imported, sold and promised iPhone series phones (including iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8plus, etc.) equipped with iOS10 or iOS11 operating systems were included in the system. The scope of protection of patent claims.

In addition, the Jiugong Remix Presentation Company claimed that the 'Sogou Input Method' APP for downloading in the Apple Store (ie, the APP Store) of the iPhone series mentioned above also falls within the protection scope of the patent claims involved.

The Jiugong Remix presented the company's request to the court to order the two defendants to stop the above-mentioned infringement, and to remove the 'Sogou Input Method' APP in the Apple Mall, which compensated the plaintiff for economic losses and reasonable expenses for stopping the infringement amounting to more than 1.2 million yuan.

At present, the defendant Apple Computer Trading Co. filed an opposition to the jurisdiction of this case during the defense period. This case is still under review.
