XDA developers find Android P hidden code: Pixel 3 or will be equipped with wireless charging

Recently, according to the foreign media alphr report, XDA developers found some optimized wireless charging code in the second beta version of Android P.

This means that Android P will either natively support wireless charging, in other words, Google’s next-generation flagship Pixel 3 series will likely carry wireless charging capabilities.

If the guess is true, then Pixel 3 series will certainly use the glass body design, because the metal body can not use the wireless charging function.

At the same time, developers have also found clues in the code to some Active Edge features that will cause the new pixel to vibrate and activate some functions when squeezed on the side of the phone.

Active Edge first debuted on the Pixel 2 series, which can activate the voice assistant on Pixel 2 when squeezing the side of the phone.

Previous exposures indicate that the Google Pixel 3 series will have a mid-range model with the Snapdragon 710 processor. Twitter reporter Roland Quandt said that Google may release the Pixel 3 series in the first half of next year.
