Hisense increased its shareholding in European appliance company Gorenje | The ratio is as high as 95.42%

On June 28, according to foreign media reports, in the past month, Hisense Luxembourg Home Appliance, a subsidiary of China Hisense Group, successively acquired a 62.46% stake in Slovenian home appliance manufacturer Gorenje.

If you count the 32.96% stake in the company that has been acquired before, Hisense Luxembourg Appliances Holdings already owns a total of 95.42% of the latter.

Gorenje is one of the largest white goods exporters in Slovenia. The company was founded in 1950 and has a history of 68 years.

Gorenje is one of the eight major home appliance manufacturers in Europe, with a market share of approximately 4% in Europe, and its product sales channels cover more than 90 countries worldwide.
